FAQs
1
Can I make special arrangements to send my child with a friend or drop off my child?
We are not a drop off program. We are a cooperative effort and are structured so that every family must contribute toward the running of our group. Even though you might feel like you are not needed throughout the co-op day, we rely on every family to have an adult present to keep things running smoothly when people call out sick or when unexpected events occur.
We have purchased insurance with the qualification that a parent/guardian of each child is present on campus.

I want to be with my child/I don't want to be with my child throughout the day.
Our first priority in assigning parents to a volunteer position is getting our nursery kids and our Little Ones squared away. These kids need their parents the most, so we do our best to keep you with your child. We do have limited space in our Little Ones and Station to Station rooms. Your best bet to be able to stay with your child in these rooms is to volunteer to be a Table Leader or Station Leader.

If there are special circumstances, please email us. Let us know what is going on with your child, and we will do our best.

What's going on with background checks?
All members will be required to submit to a background check. Is this your first time registering for HIS Homeschool Co-op? If so, you will be charged a one-time $15 fee for this during the registration process.
After your registration application has been processed, you will be emailed a link to fill out the background check form directly and securely via a third party website.

Do you have any health requirements?
Please see our handbook for our illness policy.

Vaccination is not a requirement for joining our group.
We expect all who attend to respect the personal choices of others.
