About

We are a Christian homeschool co-operative. We strive to honor God through providing an environment and classes that align with the teachings of the Bible.

Our co-op is run (including all teaching positions) solely by volunteer homeschooling parents. No one is employed by our group or paid for the duties they fulfill to keep our co-operative running.

Our co-op primarily offers enrichment/extra-curricular classes to homeschooling families. We meet on Friday mornings for two 10-week semesters per year. Each semester’s class offering looks very different based on what the members (parents) volunteer to teach.

We are not a drop-off program. All parents who are not teaching volunteer for other duties. A parent/guardian must remain on site and volunteer to help in some capacity with all registered class periods.

Mission

HIS Homeschool Co-op seeks to provide a place for relationship and fellowship with like-minded families as we endeavor to homeschool our children (18 and younger).  To that end, we come together to offer group classes in order to supplement and enrich our children's education.

Statement of Faith

HIS Homeschool Co-op believes in the right of every parent to determine the educational path of their children. HIS Co-op yields to the Lord Jesus Christ and the infallible Word of God (the Bible) as our guide and final authority for life.

HIS Homeschool Co-op believes that children are a heritage of the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and that God has commanded Christian parents to train their children according to the Word of God (Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4).

It's a place that I can learn about things I enjoy.

Evie, Age 12

I love the way we get to engage with other students.

Jack, Age 15

One of my favorite things about co-op is that the teachers always make an effort to get to know you personally.
