Magic Treehouse
Come join Jack and Annie as they visit the unicorn of the sea, a pack animal who taunts his herd by sticking his tongue out, a penguin as tall as the average six-year-old human, a dog who doesn’t bark, and a big cat who can’t roar. Each week, students will listen to or read one half of a Magic Tree House book at home. Students will need to have access to the books listed below through the library or by purchasing them (eBay and other used sites are great resources for this). In class, students will work on their own travel journals, discuss, and do hands on activities. The books that will be covered are: Eve of the Emperor Penguin, Narwhal on a Sunny Night, Late Lunch with Llamas, Sunlight on the Snow Leopard, and Dingoes at Dinnertime.
